The Bachelor in Business – International Track is a graduate management degree. Taught in 3 years, the 3rd year offers a focus on a specific sector or business area to enable graduates to enter the employment market with sought-after skills.
After 2 years of core training to acquire the fundamentals of management, along with 2 internships, the 3rd year enables students to specialize in Marketing and Innovation.
This year also enables students to discover a fast-raising business sector in the region, to choose from: wine and gastronomy, health and well-being, social business, industry, collaborative economy…
The Bachelor in Business, specialisation Marketing and Innovation, is a 1-year course taught in English, full-time, on the Lyon Campus.

DIPLOMA
The Bachelor in Business leads to a diploma approved by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, with the grade of licence (Bac +3, level 6).
EXPECTED RESULTS AND ASSESSMENT METHODS
Skills are assessed by exams and personal assignments every semester.
Certification: “Diplôme d’études supérieures en commerce et management opérationnel”, a state-recognized level 6 (Bac+3) qualification, registered on the Répertoire National des Certifications Professionnelles published in the Journal Officiel on 10/03/2022 (RNCP365636: consult the file).
50 hours of face-to-face coaching, workshops, company knowledge, learning professional codes, etc.
PEP’S is a program designed to help you make the transition from student to professional to become a unique talent! This progression path, led by career consultants, includes workshops and interactions with the professional world.
Support is structured around these 3 focal points:
- To help students choose their 3rd year specialisation and find their bearings in an efficient well-thought-out way, they follow a path of discovery of the company its professions and its functions. To refine their career plans, each student takes a personality test, followed by a coaching workshop.
- In addition to the one-on-one guidance throughout the CV and cover letter making process, several workshops are offered to enable future graduates to optimize their integration into the professional world: round table discussions with professionals, a specific Solicity preparation program, workshops to master professional codes and practices, and digital identity management to combine know-how and interpersonal skills.
- A specific module has been set up to help students manage their work-study experience: time management, prioritization, stress management, conflict management…this program is linked to their day-to-day issues and organization, so they can become true professionals!
Because professionalization is at the heart of Esdes’ pedagogical approach, the entire program is recognized as part of the curriculum, thanks to the validation of ECTS credits.

SPECIALISATION YEAR
The candidate must:
- currently be finishing or have already completed their second year of a bachelor degree (equivalent to 120 ECTS)
- have at least a B2 level of English: 550 (TOEFL), 5.5 (IELTS) , 785 (TOIEC) or 60-74 (EasySPEAKing) exam
After receiving the application, including supporting documents, the admissions board will review the complete file. Eligible candidates will then be invited for a personal interview by Skype or Teams.
After the interview, the final admission results will be communicated by email.

Students can join in 1st year and follow two-years within English Track. Once they validated 120 ECTS credits, they can enter the Global Business Development specialization.
The candidate must:
- hold a recognized high school diploma or end of secondary school certificate (Baccalaureate, A levels…)
- be in good academic standing
- have at least a B2 level of English: 550 (TOEFL), 5.5 (IELTS), 785 (TOIEC) or 60-74 (EasySPEAKing) exam

- Curriculum Vitae in English
- Cover letter in English
- Official copies of secondary education transcripts in English or French
- Official copies of high school diploma or end of secondary school certificate
- Official English test results (TOEIC, BULATS, TOEFL, IELTS, CAMBRIDGE, EasySPEAKing*) except for native English speakers (English as mother tongue) or candidates who have studied at least two years in a program taught in English (the candidate will have to provide supporting documents)
- Optional: one recommendation letter from a professor or business professional
- Application fee: 50 euros (non-refundable)
*Easy Speaking: realize this official English exam with ESDES. If you wish to pass this test, (50€ fees), please inform us in your application form.
