Winter intake for first year at Esdes – What is it?
Our Winter Intake for first year is an accelerated program that enables you to take your first year at Esdes in just 5 months.
At the end of the winter intake, providing you pass the course, you begin your second year of the Esdes Bachelor in Business – International Track in September 2025 with all the other second year students or you can choose to join the 2nd year of the Programme Grande Ecole.
The Winter Intake for first year begins on February 17th, 2025.

Please note: the Winter Intake is ideal for high school leavers from the Southern Hemisphere. The staggered February start to the school year fits perfectly with the end of your high school studies in December. This means you can start studying at a top business school in France without having to wait for the traditional September start to the academic year.

TAKE A DEGREE IN FRANCE: BACHELOR IN BUSINESS – INTERNATIONAL TRACK or PROGRAMME GRANDE ECOLE
Our Bachelor is the ideal way for you to launch yourself quickly onto the job market. Having taken general classes in your second year, you then choose a specialization and learn a trade inside the business world thanks to a 6-month internship. You also get the opportunity to discover a promising business sector in the local region through a week-long immersion seminar in one of the following areas: wine and gastronomy, the social economy, and industry.
And you can choose to continue your studies by taking a master’s degree!
The Programme Grande Ecole is a 5-year program of excellence to develop a managerial posture, a strategic vision, an analytical mind and a leader to support the company in its evolution… In the last 2 years, for the master cycle, you will have the opportunity to choose your specialization between the 15 offered at Esdes.
The Esdes Bachelor in Business and Programme Grande Ecole are both recognized degrees. By this way, graduates who want to enroll on a master’s program in France, Europe, or the rest of the world have earned the right number of ECTS credits by the end of the course.
Admission to the Winter Intake for first year is subject to an application review and an interview. We accept applications until February 7th, 2025.
Applications are open to students who have passed their High School Diploma and wish to change direction, or who simply want to begin their first year at Esdes during the course of the French academic year.

At Esdes, registrations open in November, allowing you to reorient yourself during the course of the year, without delay.

The Winter Intake is a unique reorientation program. Esdes winter intake program allows you to reorient yourself during the course of the year, without waiting for the next academic year.
The aim is to help you find your way, while learning the basics of management and living a rich and varied student life.
How does a winter intake work?
A Winter Intake is condensed in 5 months for a first year.
The highlights are as follows:
February: start of the academic year
February to July: accelerated first-year Bachelor’s courses
September: start of 2nd year – subject to validation, in Bachelor in Business International Track
At the end of the 5-month program, students join the graduating class in September. They are fully integrated into campus life and enjoy a unique and fulfilling student experience.
