We are ESDES

I chose this specialization so that I could continue studying philosophy while opening doors to the business world, with the aim of learning to apply philosophical theories and concepts to management.

All the subjects in management and business offer high-quality, demanding classes, taught by excellent teachers, reviewed and developed in depth, and combined with the main philosophical theories.

After my work-study placement at MacAnders, a large Parisian headhunting firm, I would like to work in managerial positions: managing people and being able to draw on my philosophy and psychology classes, as well as my management classes this year, so that I can apply the “management of tomorrow” that we have envisioned!

To fully play our role in all the transitions that we will have to accompany and simply to allow these transitions to happen in a positive and inclusive way, we are perfectly aware of the importance of the human being. We are convinced that well-informed and well-trained employees will be our best assets for success.

Montabert has been committed for several years now in a circular economy scheme, such as the creation of an internal department for the “remanufacturing” of its own products, in Lyon and for Montabert in the United States. The MSc Circular Economy and Sustainable innovation will allow our teams to consolidate their achievements but also to widen their knowledge. 

From my point of view, as a HR Manager, it’s a great advantage to hire candidates with this additional education, given our new ecological and economic stakes.

Lamine Bodian is the founder and manager of an international commodity trading company. Thanks to his business network, he has built up a very solid teaching team in the program composed of specialists in different areas and expertise of risk management. He also taught or is still teaching with many foreign universities or business schools abroad in countries such as Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Lebanon, Madagascar, Morocco etc.

From his time at ESDES, Felix remembers the company case studies he worked on in class: he thinks back to these exercises whenever he is faced with business issues (HR, development, finance, marketing…).

The principles of circular economy, ecological and energetic transition are part of our company’s DNA, true pillars of our CSR policy, at the heart of our strategy.
